Gundam 00 Episode 6, starting from 2:57 to 5:05 (minus the Christina and Feldt part) She was drinking a small glass of whiskey with a few ice cubes in her room. She sipped at the drink, and then she noticed something odd in her glass.
It went dark, she knew that. The taste of red wine, not whiskey was now in her mouth. It was of a high quality, and a nice, smooth and subtle taste.
She then started hearing a sound, and it sounded like a news report.
"It is now noon. On JNN New Today, our special is the joint military exercise performed in the Moralian Republic with the AEU, named "Operation Dawn." All together, over 100 mobile suites were brought in for this exercise, but why is there a need to preform such a large scale military exercise now?"
Did she encounter one of those memory crystals Raise had been talking about? She knew she had to pay attention to the details well. It seemed like there was a war going on, but it for sure could not be something from the Sphere.
"Does this interest you?" The voice was male, and it felt very familiar to her. "Hi."
She drank another another sip as she heard someone welcome the man who just arrived. "A Juno Puree." He said, well, ordered. So they were in a bar, and the person that welcomed them was a bartender.
"Understood." Said the bartender.
"How would you interpret Moralia's actions?" The voice asked her, sounding rather casual with her. The word interpret was strange. It wasn't her opinion, but her interpretation.
"Let's not do this. We haven't seen each other in a long time." She could taste the wine in her mouth again, as she heard her voice. So this man was someone she knew.
"Not since graduate school. How many years has it been?" He obviously didn't know that talking about years in front of a woman isn't the most polite thing.
"Don't say that. You'll find out how old I am." She felt like laughing, as even in this memory she thought the same.
"I already know." His voice was nervous and awkward around her...could it be he liked her?
"Sorry to keep you waiting." She took another sip of the wine as the bartender spoke.
"When a woman's real age is mentioned, she loses that much youth." She couldn't help but agree, it really is true. At least this was a clue to her age, though. She must have been at least in her twenties.
"I don't think you had data to prove that." This guy was awkward, and his word choice was strange. Why did he say data? Was he a researcher of some kind.
"You have changed, Billy." So the man's name was Billy.
Somehow that name meant a lot to her, and a sadness started to fill her heart. Why was this meeting so awkward? Had she done something to him? Had he done something to her?
"I'm glad you invited me." He sounded sincerely happy, but there still was this lingering sadness and a sense of guilt. She took another sip of the drink.
"Anti-Gundam Investigational Squad? What kind of name is that?" Gundam; that word almost sent a shock throughout her whole body. Why did that word stand out so much?
"It was formed recently and doesn't have an official name yet." So he seemed like some sort of military man, but he seemed rather...geeky to say the least.
"And you're assigned to that squad?" She asked, and she could tell in her voice her intentions were not as naive as they seemed.
"Not just me. The Technological Chief is Professor Eifman." Another name. Was this Billy man a researcher for the military with this Professor?
"The Professor?" Could this person be a former teacher of hers? Did that mean she did the same thing as him?
"The Professor already has a general idea of the particles emitted by the Gundams." There was that word again, Gundam.
"That sounds interesting. What kind of particle is it?" She was for sure using this man, even she knew that. She could tell by the situation. Was she a spy? Did she have something to do with these Gundams?
"I kept asking him, but he wouldn't answer me."
"Ah, that's a shame." Or more like a relief by the tone of her voice.
"Anyway, what are you doing now?" He perked up once again, and he really did seem like some love sick puppy.
"A lot of things." She was sloppy with him, but at the same time very careful.
"What about that?" After that was said, she felt like her whole body was paralyzed. She felt the guilt and sadness eat at her soul once again. The emotions were so intense where it felt like she could cry.
"I already forgot about it." And what a bad cover up that was.
"I see." He knew she was lying, she could tell, but he accepted it.
"That's fine. I'm just glad we met again." Why did he accept her?
"Yeah." She said, the taste of the wine starting to fade from her mouth.
She opened her eyes, seeing she was no longer in the dream. She needed another drink for sure. she poured herself another, but noticed something strange. She sniffed the glass, and it smelled differently. She took a sip, letting the flavor settle in her mouth.
"Grape juice?"
