I'm rather curious about everything, I am an excellent student and this is a new place and new people for me to learn.

You were one of the first people who reached out to me in friendship, not many people would do that for a stranger, it's...intrigued me.

...And besides, if someone asked you out for an evening then you must be, at the very least, interesting enough to spend time with.
