Pet peeve
For some reason here in Charlotte, people feel the need to put stickers on their cars that indicate where they live or where they vacation. Another example of eastern self obsession. Yes, I consider where I currently live the east rather than the south. But I digress.
Look you asshole, I don't care that you went to the outer banks for vacation. Why do you feel the need to let people know? These are the OBX stickers.
Listen up, I don't care that you live in Lake Norman. Is it that important to you that I do? Why? These are the LKN stickers.
PM stickers: Plaza-Midwood.
The people with these types of stickers on their car I'll bet have tons of credit card debt. They probably use all their income to keep up the image they think is so important.
And can I also add that I hope gas rises to $10/gallon. It's the only way that the behavior of people in this country will change. You drive an SUV, and it costs you a lot of money to fill it up? boo hoo.
