(no subject)
Finals week is almost here, and I can't wait until this quarter is over! Next week will be really stressful though, and will look something like this:
Sight singing final
Dictation final
Poly sci final (tomorrow!)
Vocal tech final
Conducting final
Comprehensive theory final (3 quarters worth of material)
Piano proficiency exam
Vocal jury
Moving into my apartment!
Hmm, I think that's about it... crazy, huh? But I know I'll get through it, and after next week, I'll be taking summer classes and working. I'm so excited about my apartment... I love my Steve to death, but I think I need a little bit of space (I'm sure he agrees!)- if for no other reason than I need a place to put my crap, lol. I'm a packrat, I need to visit Goodwill (and not to buy stuff!) :P
Steve and I went to visit Aaron Oney and his fiance Holly's new apartment on Monday... it's awesome, and really reasonable ($465 per month- big living room and bedroom and a huge bathroom, the kitchen's a little small, but the complex is really clean and well kept). Steve and I are thinking about working this summer and next school year and moving in my junior year... we both would really like to move in next year, but for financial reasons (and otherwise), we'll probably wait. I am 99% sure that we're going to stay together, and I'm happy with that, but the last thing either of us need is to get an apartment together and then break up. So I think we're being sensible, although I really just want to get an apartment! I'll update about that as I know more.
What else is new... ooh, I saw Star Wars, and loved it... of course, I think if it had been bad, George Lucas would have been hunted down and lynched... especially after Jar Jar
...And I went camping last Friday! (wow, I'm the last one to write about it, but oh well) We had a really good time, and I'm glad I went... however, the run-in with the cops was not so fun. I knew something would happen... the first time I have a drink ever and I am *thisclose* to getting in trouble. But in the end, it was definitely worth it, and Steve and I had a blast. We definitely need to do stuff like that more often.
