Challenge update
D'oh! I can't believe that I forgot to post these on my monthly reflections. Anyway, here's an update on where I am with my challenges!
New Genre challenge: 6 out of 12 books
Read the World: 4 out of 18 countries
Summer of Series Challenge for June: 3 out of 3 book COMPLETE
Support your local library challenge: 40 out of 50
Young Adult Reading challenge: 25 out of 25 COMPLETE
So I've decided to add in my books for the children's literature class into my challenges, even though they're being reviewed elsewhere (confusing I know, but I felt silly not adding the 29 library books I checked out to the support your local library challenge). This is why you'll see a big leap in some areas this month. I managed to complete the June portion of the Summer of Series challenge. I don't think I'll be able to do that for July, but I'll do my best. I also completed the Young Adult Reading challenge. Of course, I will continue to read young adult literature throughout the year. I just won't count it in that entry any more.
Other challenges are moving more slowly. I have other ideas for sort of "self challenges" I want to set for myself, but I think that I'll wait until I finish up school this summer, and complete at least one more of the challenges listed above.
