Whoops

After talking so much about how I was going to lighten up my TBR this year, looks like I just made a few additions.

The way that paperbackswap works is when you don't want to be swapping, your account goes on "vacation mode." You specify a start and stop date, which locks away your bookshelf for that period of time. I put mine on hold a little while ago, and randomly selected an end date in 2009, figuring that I'd know if I was ready to swap again by then. That date just happened to be Friday, around the time when I had decided to make lightening up my TBR a goal for 2009. And I er... forgot to move the date forward.

So my acct opened up, 11 people requested books and 8 books on my wishlist were offered to me. I couldn't just turn them down. That means putting yourself at the end of the waiting list. For some books, those are hundreds of people long.

As a result, I have the following books coming to me:

Exit Strategy- Kelley Armstrong ( my review- 02/16/09)
Shadows Return- Lynn Flewelling ( my review- 01/20/09)
Inkheart- Cornelia Funke ( my review- 02/06/09)
The Outlaw Demon Wails- Kim Harrison ( my review- 08/29/09)
Breaking Dawn- Stephenie Meyer (I actually have listened to the audio already but do not own a copy)
The Touch of Twilight- Vicki Pettersson
On Gold Mountain- Lisa See
Peony in Love- Lisa See ( my review- 04/12/09)

I have a book addiction...

kim harrison, vicki pettersson, stephenie meyer, kelley armstrong, lynn flewelling, cornelia funke, paperbackswap, lisa see
