Have you ever read any Le Guin before?

I really loved the maps. Then again, I usually like maps in books, but this one was different. The landscape was really conducive to it since it's all water and islands. Lots and lots of islands. Being able to follow all the little ships navigating the water ways was pretty fun and engaging. :)

Thank you so much for joining me! I hope you'll continue with the challenge through June and perhaps pick up some of Le Guin's other books? She's quite good (as you can tell). I'd recommend The Left Hand of Darkness. I've read may short story collections and am sad to say, have not gotten around to reading The Dispossessed or several of her other novels yet, which I do have. Shame on me!

Hey there! I am planning on continuing the challenge throughout June, although it's a little questionable whether I'll finish on time or not (summer classes are sucking up more of my free time than I planned on). I've heard fantastic things about The Left Hand of Darkness, and it is one that I'm planning on picking up eventually :)

Don't worry, it'll be fun to discuss no matter when you finish. The good news is the second book is only about 100 pages and the third, about as long as the first.

Good luck with your classes! Those come first. :)

Haha. I wish school didn't come first sometimes :)

And thanks :)
