I think the next Alpha & Omega book is supposed to come out NEXT year. We'll see.
I've found the weakest titles so far to be the HUNTING GROUND and BONE CROSSED. That's me though. :) I felt this book was a marked improvement, which is good, because I was really starting to get worried.
I like the title for River Marked too :). As far as the Alpha and Omega book, next year is certainly what her webpage says. However, I can't help but be a little nervous. I saw Patty doing a reading on youtube where she said that the next Anna and Charles book was what was currently on her mind. She said that it will probably be the next book after the 5th Mercy book, but she didn't sound so sure. It makes me just a little nervous. I'm curious to see what her revamped Masques will look like. I've never heard about an author re-writing a book so completely before.
I don't think the recent books have been quite as strong as someone of the earlier ones. I mean, I could not put Blood Bound and Iron Kissed down. They were so addictive. Bone Crossed, and Silver Borne were certainly enjoyable to me, although not quite on the same level (same with Hunting Ground).
The thing that worries me about Briggs is that I don't think she can handle one more than one project at a time. I hope she'll prove me wrong, but at this point, that's my theory. :)
