Goodreads + a note about reviews

After fighting off temptation for a couple years, I've finally broken down and joined yet another online community, Goodreads! I'm pretty new to the site and don't quite know how to do everything yet, but I've already posted a review, part of my TBR, and updated what I was currently reading. I can tell that this website is going to be addicting! If you're a part of goodreads and am looking for a new friend, I can be found here! Being a bit of a reader-stalker, I'm always curious to see what other people are reading.

One of the things that convinced me to go to goodreads is the fact that they review books with five star raitings, just like I do here! Unfortauntely, I found out that some things are different about their systems. Unlike here, they don't use half stars. Also, each star holds a different weight. Here on temporaryworlds, I consider 3 stars to be the dividing line. So anything below 3 stars is a book that I don't like. Anything above is a book that I do like, at least on some level. On goodreads, a 3 star review is "liked it" what I would consider a 4 star review here. As a result, all of my reviews on goodreads will have slightly different ratings to fit with their system. Here's basically what it's going to be:

5 stars here = 5 stars on goodreads
4.5 stars here = 4 stars on goodreads
4 stars here= 3 stars on goodreads
3 or 3.5 stars here = 2 stars on goodreads
anything below here= 1 star on goodreads

I don't like this as much, but don't think it will be too much of a problem, except for in my short story reviews, where I tend to be pickier.

Sorry for my long winded explanation! Is anyone here on goodreads?
