So you got the 48 fps, were you also watching 3D?

even I wasn’t in love with the scenes involving Radagast the Brown

Yeah... that's an extended edition scene if I ever saw it. But I'm hoping, and this is a strange hope, that this means we WON'T GET extended editions of the movies on dvd.

Glad you enjoyed your experience though! I, obviously, was a fan, but it's no LOTR. Of course, I wasn't expecting it to be, so that did help. ;)

Yep. 48fps, 3D and in IMAX. We went all out. What version did you end up seeing?

Straight-up 2D. We want to see it again, though, and plan to go for 3D 48fps next. I can't get into IMAX. :)
