Last night in Boston...
Sounds I hear (normal):
dump truck
the T
cars
the lonely elevator that wanders to every floor all the night
the rattling of the hobo's bottles in his shopping cart
Teddy's light snoring
the roar of the fan of my extternal hard drive
random noises of neighbors
drunk people from Paridise Rock Lounge
Midas Parking Lot shenanigans
yet, its still too quiet. So many people are missing. And my room is just a shell with my bags packed on the floor. These remaining sounds I hear reverberate off my walls in an unfamilar tone. Imagine what it'll be when I get home------there will be none of these!
Noises, sounds...they're so comfortable, this city life.
Friends at home, their sounds...all of the past and bring induce happy memories...yet, their so vague. Unsoothing, even.
How I'll miss Fourth Floor Claflin, 277 Babcock Street Boston, Massachusetts.
This school year has ended...but I want the next one to start already.
Good night, room, one last time. Good night Roomie, good night lonely elevator, goodnight sounds of Boston. Later.
