The Turning of the..nevermind
How do I describe the last five days?
Painful is a good word. Even now, Monday, I still am experiencing some residual pain from Wednesday night/Thursday morning.
What happened, you ask?
I'll spare you the gory details, but the long and short of it is that I came down with a stomach flu. I thought it was food poisoning, because the onsets are...relatively the same, but it was the stomach flu. Apparently, it was going around. In the process, I managed to hurt my back, chest, and ribcage, and so spent most of Friday or Saturday unable to breathe, and due to recovery from the flu, unable to eat very much.
So I missed one day of my Internship, one day of seminar that is required...so even though I turned a three day weekend into a five day weekend, I really only got about a day of real relaxation.
Being sick sucks.
Also, we went out to the car Friday morning to take Ainyan to work, and discovered my tire was flat. So we had to call my sister to drive her to work. Dad came that night and fixed it, as there was no way I could. Just a nail, so a simple patch will hold for now.
Also, I took the car in today to get the breaks repaired. That was fun. Still, the car runs better now, is safe, and has a tire that will hold for a bit.
And I'm finally about to get my refund from school. Things are...ok.
