I wrote these for
theriversdream because she was bored and I had nothing better to do. :P They may not qualify as crack!fic, more like crap!fic. *shrug*
They're all Doctor/Peri, and the further you read, the more smutty they become. All are unbeta'd and I'm sure there are loads of spelling and grammatical errors.
Shared with my apologies. :P
Loathing
The mix of emotions coursing through her drove her slowly mad. Oh, she was fond of Erimem to be sure, but ever since she joined the TARDIS crew, the Doctor spent all his time showing Erimem the universe. And Peri was relegated to the status of second fiddle. It infuriated her. She had the Doctor all to herself, and she missed the opportunity she was given. Now she had to share him. She certainly didn’t hate Erimem; she was actually quite fond of her. But watching the Doctor show off the glories of his TARDIS, spending all him time talking to Erimem, explaining things, even putting an arm around her. Loathing filled Peri’s heart and she couldn’t stop herself from stomping from the console room.
Peri sat in her room and sulked. When there was a soft knock on the door, she actually jumped.
“Come in.”
The door opened and the Doctor stepped slowly into the room. He sat on the bed next to her.
“What’s wrong?” he asked with a sigh.
“Where’s Erimem?” Peri asked, unable to keep the hatred from her voice.
“You don’t like her, do you?”
“I do.” Peri paused, and looked down at her hands. “It’s just-” Peri stopped, unsure of how to continue.
“Hmm?” the Doctor prompted.
Peri leaned against the Doctor’s shoulder and sighed.
The Doctor nodded to himself. Yes, he knew what was wrong.
He leaned away from her, and placed his hands on her shoulders. Gazing into her face he spoke. “You’re my friend. You’ve seen all that’s out there. She hasn’t. Not yet.” He pulled her into an embrace. “I haven’t forgotten you.” He kissed the top of her head. “I won’t ever forget you.”
Peri sat back from him and looked up into the Doctor’s face. She smiled softly.
“Thank you.”
Exhaustion
They had been running from the angry mob for what seemed like miles. Peri’s legs felt like rubber, but she willed them to keep going. The Doctor was just a few feet in front of her, but she could hear him encouraging her.
“C’mon, Peri! The TARDIS is just through that stand of trees!”
“I’m trying,” was all Peri managed in reply.
Running amongst the trees, Peri stepped on a root protruding from the ground, and lost her footing. She stumbled, barely stopping herself from falling by grabbing out at the tree.
“Peri!”
“I’m right behind you! Go!”
The Doctor turned back, and ran the few feet towards her, “Are you all right?”
“Yes, let’s move! I have no interest in being their dinner!”
As they began running again, the Doctor shouted back, “I believe I was the dinner, you were on the menu as dessert.”
They burst from the trees stumbled gratefully into the TARDIS.
The Doctor, his finger flying over the controls, started their flight.
Peri was leaning over, hands on her knees, wheezing.
The Doctor came over to her and bent down to look her in the face.
“Let’s have a look at that ankle.”
“I told you I’m fine.” She straightened up. “But I would love a bath and a solid eight hours of sleep.”
The Doctor nodded. “That sounds like an excellent suggestion.”
Peri walked towards the inner door, and just as she pushed it open, she stopped. “Are you coming or not?”
The Doctor smiled. Taking his jacket off, he followed her through the doorway. Yes, they wouldn’t get any rest tonight, either.
Touched
Sometimes the Doctor got it right. Peri looked out at the alien marketplace and smiled at the sheer variety. The sites, sounds and smells nearly overloaded her senses, and she had to focus on only one vendor at a time.
She found some lovely jewelry, ate some delicious meat served on a stick (although she didn’t want to know what it was), found some fragrant bath salts, and even considered a rug for the floor of her bedroom.
Having passed on the rug - against her better judgment - Peri noticed that the sun was beginning to set and the vendors were closing up their stalls. She finally found the Doctor, leaning against a straw hut at the far end of the market.
“Did you have fun?” he asked.
“I did. I found some wonderful things.”
He nodded and led her back to the TARDIS. By the time they reached it, the sun was almost completely below the horizon. Peri looked up briefly at the night sky and wondered (as she always did when looking up at the stars) which one was home. The Doctor leaned against her and pointed towards a very dim star.
“It’s that one.”
Peri smiled at him, and entered the TARDIS. With a mischievous smile, he followed.
Setting her purchases down on the bed in her room, Peri began to unpack them. She turned over the earrings and bracelets in her hands, and wished that she had found a necklace to match them. Oh well.
Suddenly she heard the Doctor shout from the console room.
Peri ran from her room and upon entering the console room she saw that the exterior door was open. She stepped cautiously outside.
They had materialized not far from the edge of a cliff. It overlooked the most beautiful and still ocean Peri had ever seen. The moon was reflected on the water, and Peri again looked up, trying to find home.
At that moment, she felt something small and delicate around her neck. She reached up her hand and touched the necklace the Doctor was fastening for her.
When the necklace was clasped, the Doctor placed his hands on Peri’s shoulders, leaned down and planted a soft kiss on the nape of her neck.
Peri shivered. She turned to face the Doctor and smiled. He met her smile. They stood in each other’s arms for several minutes, staring into each other’s eyes.
Finally the Doctor spoke. “It matches the jewelry you bought in the market.”
“I would expect nothing less from you,” Peri said, teasingly. “Thank you.”
“You’re most welcome.”
Slowly, the Doctor bent his head to hers. She completed the movement and touched her lips to his. Relaxing into the moment, he opened his mouth to her, and both moaned their approval and pleasure.
Loved
The Doctor approached the King with all due reverence. The slightest mistake, and Peri would be dead before his next breath. He bowed deeply, extending his arms to the sides. When he straightened, he pronounced his gratification at being allowed in the Kings presence, and then began to extol the King’s mighty virtues.
The Doctor didn’t believe anything he said, but they had Peri captive, and if he wanted her released unharmed he had to play their game.
After fifteen minutes of pontificating, the King suddenly stood and the Doctor stopped. This was not a good sign. The King stepped down from the platform and approached the Doctor. He had been warned not to look the monarch in the eyes, so the Doctor looked pointedly just to the King’s left.
The king stopped just a few feet from the Doctor. “Look at me.”
The Doctor, wary of a trap, but smart enough not to upset the King, slowly brought his eyes to him. Old blue eyes met young green ones and both stood, looking at each other for several minutes.
Finally the King spoke. “Yes. You can have her.”
Relief flooded through the Doctor.
“Conditionally,” the King said.
“May I ask what are the conditions, your majesty?”
The King smiled.
? ? ?
Peri sat in her bedroom. The shower had felt wonderful; she ran a comb through her wet hair. She had been in that horrible dungeon for too long, and she was thrilled when she was finally released. She had slipped on her green silk dressing gown, and slid her feet into a pair of slippers. She padded to the kitchen, made a cup of cocoa and walked back to her bedroom. When she came around the corner, she saw the Doctor standing outside her bedroom door, an unreadable expression on his face.
Stepping past him, she went into her room, leaving the door open. The Doctor followed her and sat on the edge of her bed, looking more than just a little uncomfortable.
“What’s wrong?”
“The King approved my plea to release you on one condition.”
“Which was?”
The Doctor looked up at her, his eyes suddenly bluer than she had ever seen them. They were alive and electric. She had never seen his eyes like that, and it unnerved her. He stood up and approached her.
“Doctor?” She was more than just a little afraid; she had never seen the Doctor move in such a manner. “Doctor, please, you’re scaring me.” Peri backed away from him, but he continued his slow advance.
“Don’t be afraid, Peri. I won’t hurt you. I promise. But the King made me promise, and he’s forcing me to abide by it. The implant won’t disintegrate until I do.”
“Implant?” Peri asked, now standing against the wall.
The Doctor turned his head and folded his ear forward. There was a small silver disc on his skin and Peri instinctively reached out for it. The Doctor grabbed her hand and held it in his own. His eyes were boring into hers, and she wanted to flee, but something suddenly insisted that she stay perfectly still.
The Doctor released her hand and placed his palms on her shoulders. Slowly they slid down her arms to her waist. Peri shivered but couldn’t take her eyes from the Doctor. Not taking his eyes from hers, he slid his fingers under the tie that was keeping her dressing gown fastened. Slowly he loosened the knot.
The dressing gown fell to the floor and the Doctor stepped closer to Peri, one hand on her waist, the other on her chin. He bent his head towards her and whispered in her ear. “This was the condition.”
“I don’t understand.”
The Doctor looked at her. His eyes were serious, the hand on her waist slowly pulling her closer. “He’s forcing me to tell you the truth.”
“Truth?”
He kissed her neck and trailed his mouth up to her jaw. Then he looked into her eyes. “I love you.”
Peri’s heart stopped as the Doctor’s mouth touched hers and his hands began to dance across her skin
