Merry Christmas everyone!!!
I'm normally not the biggest fan of Christmas (usually it means lots of drama), and although there is drama this christmas, I had such a great Christmas the past few days with Trevor. He's in Phoenix right now and tomorrow I'm leaving for Tacoma, WA, so we knew we wouldn't be around for xmas, so I gave him his presents earlier this week and yestserday he gave me mine. I framed his autographed superman drawing for him (surprisingly expensive: $130 to get it floated on black suede-looking matting and a steel frame), and I'm going to take him here:
http://www.hotel-calafia.com/index.jsp in January or February. He got me this cute black down jacket with fur in and around the hood, some black rabbit fur moccasins (
http://www.shoepavillion.com/paris-blues-nance.html), a cute belt, some earrings, and other little accessories-- which he picked out all on his own with me there. he was like trying the clothes up to me and everything, so cute. He was like "i'd be the BEST straight fashion designer ever"...lol. But he was like, "I wanted to get you a car stereo and some new speakers, but I know you really want this too..." it was cute. He said he wanted me to feel like I look good because whenever I feel that confident, he can tell I'm a lot happier. lol, he wants me to "break necks, not just turn heads" :) its cute. he knows i dont have much nice clothes, so its nice that he doesnt make a big deal out of it.
hes so perfect too.
So like after all the shopping and we left lunch, we were driving along and I heard him mumble, "you just might be perfect for me"... and when I asked him what he said he said "oh, nothing"... and then later when I was leaving, I thought I wasnt going to see him again until new years so I said "bye, I love you" really quietly when I was walking away, and he yelled back (not realizing it) "I love you too baby!"... then realized what he said and kinda stuttered and blushed. So when I did see him later last night, i told him "I know you arent really into saying things like that, and it just seemed like a reflex. so if you didnt mean it Im totally fine with that" because I really expected it to be just something you're used to saying, you know? and he said "well, I felt pretty comfortable saying that, I just dont normally say that."
Last night he was trying to sell his truck, and when this shady guy didnt want to pay the whole amount (and he was wearing these shady latex gloves while he touched anything on the truck), we went to move it to USD to park it while he's gone, and this other dude followed him all the way there from his house. when he stopped before where we were going to park, the guy got out and asked him how much he was selling it for, but he only spoke spanish, so i was translating for him while he looked at the truck. when he said no, trevor said he was going to wait until the guy left-- and he didnt. so trevor got into my car and we just sat there (which is when we had the conversation about the "i love you" reflex), and the guy was just on his cell phone. so we just took off back to his place instead and on our way back up there, i saw a tow truck right next to where his truck was parked before, with a SUV parked RIGHT behind it (with mexican plates) and then a taxi parked right behind THAT with all of its lights off. So trevor parked his truck and went down with my digital camera and took pics of the license plates and wrote down plate numbers, and there were just lots of shady people walking around all night. so we filed the suspicious event with the police, and he was really bummed out because he wanted to leave for phoenix last night. I stuck around with him until everything calmed down, and we moved his truck to another part of USD.
Then when we got back, his brother came in because he got cut off at Dave & Busters even though he was sober, so he was upset because his friends stayed there when he got up and left after arguing with the manager... so I was trying to cheer him up. I started talking about the fact that i was upset that i probably disappointed my mom because i was supposed to be home like 4 hours earlier but all that drama was going down, Tim (trev's bro) said "you know, he probably really appreciates that you're here for him".... We went to pick up some Taco Bell, and when the lady asked "for here or to go" i said "TO GO" and looked at trevor-- i said "we cant leave your brother alone" and he responded with a kiss and "you are getting more and more perfect every day"
his bro is soo cool, we get along great, and he really likes me. Hes bringing this girl hes dating that lives in Vegas down here for New Years and she never comes because she doesnt know anyone. He wants me to get to know her so she'll know someone down here. We're going wine tasting on New years day. But he was like 'please do this favor for me please... you're the coolest girl I know so I need you to show her a good time so she'll want to come down here more often'. I was suprised that he would ask me a favor. he comes across as a really serious guy, and sometimes really rude or ignorant, but hes a really good guy in general, so i was really surprised that he asked me to come with them. but when I left for the night, I said "ok, I need a hug!!!" and made him give me a hug and he was like "aww youre leaving? theres nobody here to keep us positive!!!"
Anywhoo... im just writing here. I really like how things are going with him. Nothing is rushed, so when something good happens, its surprising and genuine. The fact that he even referred to me as "perfect" for him means a lot because he doesnt like saying ANYTHING, and said he was "scared of commitment"... which he has even more recently admitted that he doesnt feel anymore.
Ok. I gotta finish packing my toiletries and carry-on luggage for the trip tomorrow. Love you all, merry christmas.... happy new years if I dont talk to any of you sooner!
