Good things come to those who wait. Yes, this is an old cliche that is one I've always scoffed at while wondering when my ship was going to come in. It's amazing how long I feel I've waited to find the one I'm to be with for the rest of my life--a ship I've been waiting to set sail for so long...
April and my relationship is accelerating quickly. Each and every visit we have is more intense, yet more fun and light hearted. We are each other's best friend and more. This past visit, I cried at our parting when she had to return to Tampa. It was then that I decided to make a serious change: I'm moving to Tampa. I moving to Florida; I am moving to a state that is in the path of a hurricane annually, to be close to a girl I met on the internet. I mention these facts because I recall stating the following in past years:
I'm never going to move to Florida
I'm never moving to a state that's in the path of a hurricane
I'm never going to date someone off the internet
I'm never going to move somewhere on account of a girl
All "nevers" that are coming true. Another cliche that has hit me--"never say never". I'm so glad I did. At this moment, seeing what these nevers have meant to me now and their impact upon my life, knowing I am moving somewhere for the sake of being closer to the one I love, to end the agony both of us are going through via long-distance - another "never" I said comes to my mind...
I'll never get married.
Here's to cliche
Cheers.
