[there is a light fog in the air. The sounds are muted. Except for a child's giggle. Do you investigate?]

[Hmm? This is interesting. Since Haruka's arrived, she hasn't met a single person younger than her...

Haruka wants to meet the giggler! Time to investigate!]

[There is childish humming, further into the fog. It grows thicker as she walks, as well.]

[Well, that's a... weird tune. And what's with the fog, all of a sudden? Haruka's not sure she wants to go on. But... What if that child's in some sort of danger?! She gulps nervously, but decides to continue along]

[The fog continues to grow thicker and thicker as she walks further in, almost as if it solidifies around her.]

[Seriously. What. Is. With. This. Fog?!! This.. this isn't normal, is it? ...Haruka's gotten herself mixed up in some kind of weird, paranormal excrement, hasn't she? Great. Just great. She tries to turn back, even though every scary movie she's ever watched tells her she won't be able to. Horray.]

[The childish humming gets closer. A path seems to be opening up in the fog, but only slightly]

[The appearance of the path is still weird, but at least it means that whatever's causing this doesn't want Haruka to drown in the fog. That's gotta be a good sign, right?]

Um, hello? What are you doing out here in the creepy fog? I really don't think it's safe...

[A giggle, and she might be able to catch a glimpse of a child farther ahead, who turns and skips away.]

Oh! [She breaks into a run] Wait! Come back! I'm not kidding - I really think it's dangerous out here!

[The child only giggles in response, but she can't be seen any longer... the fog has grown so thick that it can't be seen through anymore]

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, this is bad...

[At this point the only sense of direction comes from the child, who is now singing, somewhere far off, but in a specific direction. Do you follow?]

[She'll have to follow, won't she? The fog's too thick to try and find her own path]

[It's so thick, in fact, that she doesn't even notice the pit she's about to fall into.]

[And she does. Fall into the hole that is.]

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Unfortunately for her, she landed on her arm badly, if the bone poking out is any indication]

Argghhh!!! My arm!!! MY ARM!!!!!!!!!! [She begins to sob from the pain]
