[Pretend this was posted last night.
Rooms will be open come tonight. Anyway...
It is the Masquerade Ball as promised, in one of Template's finest locations. Though characters seem to be ghosts still, the servants can see them and will answer their calls. There are three main areas:
The Ballroom
The Garden
and the patio
The Ballroom is stunning, with a domed roof inlayed with carved marble, and marble floors. The few tables are small, meant for pairs, and only have the best silverware. There is a live symphony conducting the songs, with a back-up disk jockey just in case there is a need for modern songs. A large chandelier hangs overhead.
The Garden is shaped as a symmetrical maze, decked with beautiful flowers and rose bushes. There are statues here that watch over walkers if they decide to investigate the garden-- or share a romantic moment.
Finally, the patio, where most of the tables are. Strings of lights outline the area, and candles in glass bowls of water serve as the primary lighting for people.
Roped off for now is the back section of the ballroom, which leads to an eerily dark hallway.
All partisans are wearing masks.]
(If you feel the need to log something, you are more than welcome to carry a thread to the log comm. In fact, I encourage it! But I have a feeling the log comm will get lots of use in the aftermath.)
