It was amazing how much a little board on wheels costs. Around a hundred and fifty fucking dollars for a cheap ass skateboard. Though a part of Sam did like it... but he didn't like the fact that his wallet was about to cry tears of blood. Didn't help that he decided to buy an extra pair of wheels, a block of red colored wax and tools to change the wheels. All that good stuff which left him down right broke. There was that little voice in the back of his head that made him wonder why he just bought a skateboard... oh yeah, that's right. He just wanted to get out of the house. All because of some nut running around the streets of Template, Tifa didn't want Sam to go out. Yeah. Like one little crazy person was going to stop him. And it didn't change the fact that Sam just didn't believe that video was real. Whatever, wasn't important and Sam wasn't going to think about it. So, he just shook the thoughts away.
He took his new toy and threw it on the ground, before jumping on it. That's when he realized he didn't exactly know how to ride a skateboard and he found just keeping his balance was the tricky part. He managed to get the skateboard moving and pick up a bit of speed but it was taking his foot off the ground and placing it on the skateboard. Which of course, as he was doing this he nearly lost his balance and then... the skateboard met a crack in the sidewalk and before Sam could react to it, he fell off the skateboard and his face met the pavement - but thankfully, not to hard. "Ow..." he muttered, pushing himself up and rubbing his nose. That was the price one had to pay when picking up the skateboard.
He simply got back up on the skateboard and rolled down the sidewalk, bending his knees and leaning side to side. He wasn't going that fast but he wasn't going to try and avoid the people walking. Why should he? If they see him coming then they could move. And if they didn't, he'd run right into them.
