God Rest Ye Merry Gentlement
Characters: OU!Guy Cecil and OU!Colette Brunel
Setting: Colette's apartment.
Time: Early evening
Summary: Colette, as a means of finding things to do to keep a four year old Guy occupied, offers to let him decorate the Christmas tree that, ironically enough, he had set up for her only the day before.
Warnings: Colette and Guy? Being cute?
Gailardia did miss his parents and his sister, but being four years old, and being far too trusting, they were pushed very easily to the back of his mind. He had already met a lot of people, some dressed in strange clothes, and others with strange hairstyles. And Colette had been taking very good care of him-- even if the apartment was a lot smaller than the sort of room that he was used to.
He'd explored it twice over throughout the night and morning, and he'd pressed his face against the window, where he'd told Colette at least once that he'd just learned that snow was caused by the third fonon. And often before she could really react, he was already exploring something different.
He did want to go out and play in it though. It was summer time on Hod, meaning it'd be a long time before the snow came around again. And then, Colette had promised him he'd get to decorate the big tree that was in a corner of the apartment. Gailardia was studying it intently while waiting on her, wondering what type of tree it was and why he needed to decorate it. Colette had told him about Christmas.
But Gailardia, like most children, didn't get much out of the explanation beyond the fact that one day he'd get presents.
