Mouse Trap

Summary: Looking for a snake mousetrap, and this is backdated to after the toy mouse thing, and before the theme music plot.

Alright, so Merton wasn't exactly what one would call an animal person. Despite his best friend being a werewolf and his own interest in the unknown, chasing mice just wasn't his... thing. Especially when they sought refugee under his bed, where later he planned on sleeping.
Though he was still the first to admit how over exaggerated this must seem, it really would help if it, well, left. Soon. Very soon. Just think of the mousetrap as some sort of medieval torture device. Like with the beheading of Anne Boleyn, to name one example. Except with less whiskers. And fur. And... tails.
Shaking that thought away, he checked to make sure Sam wasn't far behind. Although he wasn't expecting much help, it still made the trip more enjoyable if there was someone else along.
