For these disguises did not disguise, but reveal.

I often find that if I look at myself, the things that I most often try to hide reveal the most about me. Interesting. You should try it some time.
Things I forgot to tell you last time, I joined the school paper and the yearbook staff as a photographer. sweet. I 'm only taking 14 credit hours instead of 18 sine my adviser basically told me I was crazy to take three science classes and labs at the same time. My roommate quit the soccer team and is taking up volleyball.
I want to learn French. There are only 3 environmental science majors in the whole freshman class here. God willing I'm probably going to get an internship in Africa this summer. Classes start tomorrow.
I didn't make up this title it comes from a book by G.K. Chesterton called The Man Named Thursday. I think it's a good book. You might disagree.
Ok, is it some kind of thing among christian schools that everyone (girls at least) goes there to get married? It's a little weird sometimes, I was talking to this girl who has seriously had every single one of her family members meet his/her spouse at Wheaton. Twelve people in total.
Orientation is like the busiest time of my life, ever. I'm really glad it's over. Don't get me wrong, it was really fun, but it was a little overwhelming. I'm looking forward to starting life as normal.
Chicago is pretty nice, like they say. I like SF better though. I miss the smell of the ocean. However much I wanted to deny it, I'm a California kid at heart.
This should make you laugh. They say it's not uncommon to get snow before thanksgiving out here. Great. Freaking Great. It's like 60 degrees so I put on a jacket and people looked at me like I was a little nuts.
We just had our first whole school activity together. It was an awesome night of worship and having communion together. I'm not going to lie, it was incredible. Remembering that Christ bled for us and that now we are his body...amazing.
So yeah, if you're feeling like your school doesn't care about you come here and major in Env. Science. We each get a personal adviser since there's only three of us. Yeah, it's pretty sweet.
It's nice to have a fridge.
Night.
