I.

[Well! That was weird. Meredith had just finished asking the Champion to go hunt down some apostates, and now here she was waking up in a bed that definitely was not hers, in clothes that definitely were not hers. Did she even own a nightgown?

The answer was, of course, obvious. Magic was at work.

After thoroughly interrogating her drone husband and determining that she was not in the Fade, however, Meredith's theory has begun to waver a bit. Has she completely lost her mind, then? No. This is clearly the work of a blood mage hoping to addle her mind. She'd expected visions of her sister, the corpses of dead mages trying to assail her faith; she'd expected many things, but not this, whatever "this" was.

It doesn't take her long to figure out how the phones work. Have a curt, formal woman barking into the phone, Mayfield!]

I am Knight-Commander Meredith of Kirkwall. I know not what fresh manner of madness I seem to have wandered into, but I demand the return of my equipment and my return to Kirkwall immediately. If this is the Fade, know that we of the Templar order are thoroughly trained to eradicate demons. No devil's bargain you have to offer interests me, so save us both the trouble and return me at once.

Should this be the work of a blood mage, as I suspect, know that I am not without mercy. Surrender at once and fulfill my demands, and I will be as lenient as I can be given the circumstances. Resist, and the full wrath of Kirkwall's templars will be upon you- as well as my own. I leave which is worse up to your imagination.

Maker have mercy on you, whoever you are.
