So, uh, I'm up for Sergeant.
Yeah, I have no fuckin' clue how I got promoted, either. The LT says it's some bullshit about how I saved his life in the Big Sandbox and he nominated me to the CO and all, but I think it's just because having a sergeant who can actually pass a PT test looks good on the paperwork. Either way, I get me a nifty little ceremony sometime next month, and something extra to pin on my uniform.
I called Fuu to tell her the good news, and she couldn't stop laughing for fifteen goddamn minutes. This comes into perspective once you understand that my sister defines laughter as "HA. HA. HA. HA. HA."
Oh yeah, Sayu - I know it's short notice and all (fuck the military and their time wasting meetings) but you free for the Halloween party?
