Well I am back. After a long break of not doing this (basically I just forgot) I am back. I would love to have something major to report but really nothing much. So a basic overview of what I have been up to.
Later (past few months) I have been D&Ding again. I am also the DM of this group. I miss playing a permenant character but I get to play EVERYONE ELSE in the world. My gaming crew is a good group of friends. All are ALTs in the JET programe. We are currently running a party of 4. We have Formos the human Paladin and Viet Holderheck (spell?) the Dwarven Fighter as our main beaters. They are also new to the game and have been going great so far. My buddy is playing the paladin to the hilt but wants to play someone with more... um... options open (he wants to lie). The rest of the party is our Half-Elves (or half-humans depending on which one you ask). We have Sadie the Rogue and Sara the Druid. Both are very fun characters. But the award for total and complete comedy goes to Sadie. A half-elf rogue who loves to steal and sneak. She wants to take some swashbuckler levels for better fighting, and possibly some sorcerror and (way later) dragon deciple. Now if that isn't comedy this might be. She tried to pull off a "job" in the town we are in and got caught. She was taken back to the inn and just comedy ensued. She plays the comic relief in the party. All are disfuctional to some extent. Only one still has a family. One saw his family murdered. And two were raised as ophans. Needless to say it has been a fun distaction. And I have had a great time building the world.
Kanako and I are going well. No problems there. Still waiting on which flight we are taking back from the states this summer. We are getting the run around at the travel agency. But we are both excited to go. I wish I could be back in the states for longer but the way it worked out I just can't.
Work, well is work. It is midterm testing this week. So my class scheduel really went to nothing. On the plus side we didn't have school lunch for like 3 days. So I got to eat out! And get paid for it. Got to love that. Since i am heading out next week to Savannah for a friend's wedding, all of my next classes are messed up. I have a half week at Kojo and then only a few days after the tests at Kuwada before I go for a week. And asking a teacher what they play to do after a test, during testing week, is just impossible. So I got a lot of hemming and hawwing from them. My Kojo ones gave me some ideas of what we will do though.
I helped out and wrote a letter to welcome the new JETs to the city. I had been looking forward to doing that for a long time. I finished it and sent it off. I get a reply that my letter was too complex. To be fair it was 5 pages. So it will not be sent off. ::sadness::: On the other hand I was asked to give a speach to the new JETs for the city. The rational behind this is that I have been here a long time (true) and I love philosophy (also true). I am still wondering how the philosophy got in there. ::shurg::
Right so my friend's wedding. I am heading to Savannah, Georgia for this next week (6/6-13). I am really excitied about it. It will be the first wedding I have been to (my aunt's as a kid doesn't count). I am a little nervous about the whole thing since I don't know anything about wedding protocal or rules. But I figure my friend will help me through the basics. Thats all for the moment. I will probably post again this weekend after our D&D game. Everyone loves AAR (After Action Reports) from D&D.
