This weekend was pretty fun. Me, Anna and John (whose name I just found out is actually short for Johnathan, what the hell? Who spells it like that?) went to Orlando to visit Allie, we also got to see Alyson, Erin and Brianna. And hung out with some UCF friends of Allie's, including Danielle, Kris, Carrie, Jeremy and Eric. Orlando is a really awesome place, it makes me want to move there even though I think that UF is a better school than UCF.
But anyway, we went to Cowboy's one night, which is a club that plays country music and where people linedance, with the occasional intermittent regular clubbing song. That was ok, I got to see some sexy guys strip down to just their boxers. That part was actually way MORE than ok, but since I don't really like country music or linedancing, I'd just rate the overall experience as ok. I think that was the night we played Mario Party and saw Saw. It was my first time seeing Saw and DUDE! Excellent movie. And Saturday night we tried going to this one club but sadly, they wouldn't let John in because he was wearing shorts, which was apparently against the dress code.
We also ate out a lot, I got this huge pizza at Lazy moon that I only ate like half of (man, I hate ending phrases in prepositions, but I'm tired so I'll let that one slide), a nasty salad at TGI Friday's (but not as nasty as Allie's, who found a hair in hers,) a salad at Broadways (everyone else got calzones but I wasn't hungry) and a donut at Dunkin doughnuts (the guy said I could have it for free!). And we played some pool, I suck at pool. In fact, when Allie and I were on a team we got completely killed by I think John and Anna. As in, we still had about 5 or 6 balls to pocket when they got the eightball in. Of course, we still needed to come up with a team name and a high-five, which I think is mainly why we lost. I really wanted to play ping-pong but someone else always had the table. Oh yeah, and John got the medium calzone at Broadways which was huge. It defeated him.
A lot of the weekend for me was spent either sleeping in, admiring John's 'fro, playing catch with a little footbally-thing, or drinking some red kool-aid which, contrary to what Anna and Allie believe, is red-flavored! It's not tropical punch or cherry or whatever or any pansy-ass thing like that- it's RED KOOL-AID. Back me up guys. Red.
Oh yeah, and also, Anna and I had a conversation by snapping our straighteners at each other.
Man, this is the livejournal-iest journal post I've made in ages. I'm not going to make a habit of it.
