homecoming etc.

so homecoming was funfunfun, even if the preceding four or so hours were chaotic. poor mia baby had a cold and a last second costume that wasn't cooperating. ah well. she looked cute in the end. come to think of it so did nathan, and sean, and i. we were indeed a cute bunch of kids: two pirates, a wench, and a fairy. nathan and his cousin sean had a "dance off" to thriller, and it was hilarious. i felt pretty stupid though, b/c i didn't even know the electric slide, i mean come on, where have i been? i was pretty bummed later b/c nathan couldn't stay to hang out at mia's house at all b/c of the weather. damn weather. that left me hanging out with mia and sean= total third wheel. not that they meant to exclude me or anything, they are just so engrossed in each other it's as if i'm not even there, so i wound up just going to sleep. then i came home this morning to the mess my mother made in my room when she threw stuff out of my closet and drawers looking for a bandana for my brother. we got into a fight about whether or not my room was "an absolute pigsty" (as aparantly it was horribly organized before she threw stuff all around) and now i'm grounded till saturday for "talking back". my kingdom to be out of the house finally. anyways, i had to spend about an hour reorganizing the contents of my drawers and shelves and stuff so that i wasn't abusing her furniture, which was mad fun. then i went on a walk and took a few pictures, but i still have more than half a roll to take before tuesday and an assload of homework, which i guess i'll go work on.
this grounding thing is really going to suck, and i really wanted to see nathan this week. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
