i smell like a campfire :)
so camping was hella fun. it wasn't or weird or anything with the other family that went. we got to the campground at around 10 and set everything up, and then we hiked for around 6 hours. yes, and i am incredibly out of shape, so my legs are kind of in pain right now, but it was beautiful in the woods. at different points i got to talk to my brothers and my dad and my mom and my dad's friend from work and his wife and son, so there was a lot of talking. and walking. but it was cool because i don't really spend that much one on one time talking with my family, and it usually results in arguement when i do, but it was fun this time. then we got back to the campsite and built a fire and did the whole dinner cooking, around the fire sitting, story telling thing. i got a tent to myself, which was nice, but my sleeping bag was basically a glorified piece of paper. i felt every rock and bump on the ground, so that added to my sore-ness a bit, but it's all good. before it gets too cold my brother and his girlfriend are going to take me back up to mammoth cave to ride horses and stuff, which will be really fun as long as we don't talk about politics, haha.
