Dear Andrew Davies,

EW.

WOMEN ARE NOT HORSES. OR FALCONS.

And all those annoyingly heavyhanded remarks you put into Margaret's mouth about how girls can only sit and wait, or into Marianne's about how men see women as playthings instead of as people? They don't somehow negate the squickiness of your imagery. (Because apparently you think women are animals rather than playthings! What is THAT?)
