Every time I have anything to do with Milton, I come to the conclusion that I probably would have been a royalist. (They had all the fun entertainment, plus I'm just really not down with the deposing of kings.) Except I'm all about freedom of thought, so I probably would have had some Puritan leanings. I would have had to enact my own personal Civil War every day. (Which kind of sounds like a song by Depeche Mode, but whatever.)
