Yesterday I remembered that I had two zucchini sitting in the back of my fridge's vegetable drawer, so I decided to try something I'd read about in a couple of cookbooks, pasta with sauteed garlic and grated zucchini. It was pretty good, especially with lots of parmesan, although I think I could have let the zucchini cook a bit longer (the pasta was done by that point; next time I'll time it better).

This afternoon it occurred to me that the leftovers could really benefit from having a poached egg on top along with the grated parmesan. So that's what I just ate for dinner. Yum.
