If, for some reason, you find yourself with the urge to start a research project on sixteenth-century rings, don't be an idiot like me and put "english rings" into the title keyword search. Because you will get a bunch of books on fantasy and Lord of the Rings. Of course. (The sad/hilarious part was that the second I typed it, I knew how dumb that was, and what I was going to get, but my brain couldn't catch my fingers before I pressed Enter.)

The book I was actually trying to find was called British Rings.
