Commonplace books are one of those things I always wish I had more time to research, because I know almost nothing about them. Here is a blog post with a few pictures from one. The part where the book's writer has written down some of Donne's poetry is neat, but it's the picture of the pen testing, where the writer has written "Goe litle booke," that made me well up.
