School and Work

It's been a boring summer. I start university next week and i can say i am pretty nervous about it. I'm scared about the transition from cegep to university and that i would fail. However, it's a new chapter in my life and i'm pretty excited. This week has been a whirlwind. A week full of activities and events for Mcgill students. It's frosh week: full of beer and non-stop partying for mostly new students and returning students. I am not a wild, party person; i'm pretty laidback, kind of lazy, shy and bubbly. I don't like to drink but i'd be lying if i said i've never drank. In fact, i prefer cocktails over beer because the latter has a disgusting taste. Nonetheless, it's still nice to hang out with your friends and meet new people.

I finally got a job yet i'll be working at Jean Coutu again which is not bad considering the circumstances. I don't mind and i'm going to work part-time whilst balancing school. Perhaps, i'll find a second job at school so i can earn more money. I want to be secured financially and be able to help my parents. I'm also planning a eurotrip next summer; we still haven't decided the destinations and everything but we'll get there. Hopefully everything works out.

Toodles.
