Sometimes you're a romantic in your own right, but the other day you did something that doesn't seem right.
You came with flowers in your hand and love in your eyes, and said you saw them and thought you'd be nice.
I thought it was odd to get flowers out of the blue, but, sometimes it's just one of those crazy things you do.
A few nights later, you went out with the boys, and then, you didn't come staggering through the door till 5 a.m.
That's when it hit me.
The roses are a prepay, for the next stupid thing you might do or say.
You think I'll see the roses and smile and go easy on you for a little while.
Well, they can't wipe your mistakes away, next time, don't bother with the prepay.
