(no subject)
I watched Sleepy Hollow for the first time last night. It was so... so wonderful! It's a movie I have been meaning to watch for years and just never got around to it. On the weekend Maddi and I were strolling around VideoEzy (our home away from home) and I saw it on the shelf and grabbed it. Maddi watched it in her room before I got to see it.. well she raved and raved about it. Then last night after tea, I disappeared into my room to do a little sewing and watch it... Maddi popped her head through the door and when she saw that I was watching it she jumped onto the bed with me and we watched it together. The soundtrack is just so yummy... I grabbed a couple of songs of Ares, but I think I might go buy the soundtrack, if I can find it.
I have had itchy feet over the past few months, I want to move. I am just longing for mountains and the ocean. Owning a house makes me feel so very stuck in one place. All my life, I never really wanted to own my own place. I loved the idea of being able to just pick up and go to wherever I wanted. But now, I feel very planted in one place. I have been in Shepp for 10 years now, the longest I have ever lived anywhere. Jarrod's grandma is moving to QL in a few weeks and Jarrod said that really she was the only thing keeping him here. We wouldn't move right now, it's not a good time for a few reasons. But in about 3 years Zac will be changing schools and Nerissa will be starting school.. Maddi will be finished school. That could be a good time to move. Whether we will or not remains to be seen and of course we would have to make sure Jarrod had a job to go to before we moved... and of course we would have to work out where to actually move to! hehe Though I do know where I would like to move to, or the general area.. the Sapphire Coast would do me just fine. Where the mountains meet the ocean. Either around the northern part Tathra/Bega or the southern part Merimbula/Eden. I just love that whole area.
My skirts are selling really well on ebay, but it just never ceases to amaze me the excuses some people will give you for not paying you. One chick won an auction from me on the 7th Oct and still hasn't paid, but her excuses are just so inventive... I am kind of amusing myself with her ;) I gave up making and selling my rag dolls because it just broke my heart to part with them lol
