Sci-fi meds?

Sep 08, 2006 13:26

I was entering some product into receiving sheets today (long, boring accounting work) when I decided to write a sci-fi short story using medication names.

The title: Beware the Cyclomen (used to treat various medical conditions)

Other medication names to be incorporated:

Keppra (used in combination with other medications to treat seizures in adults with epilepsy)
Aceon (used to treat high blood pressure)
Ridaura (used to treat rheumatoid arthritis)
Tambocor (used to correct irregular heartbeats to a normal rhythm)
Tarka (used to treat high blood pressure)
Tazorac (used to treat acne on the face and to treat psoriasis)
Starlix (used alone or in combination with other medications to treat type 2 diabetes)
Synthroid (used to treat hypothyroidism)
Valtrex (used to treat herpes zoster (shingles) and genital herpes)

Edited to include common uses for the medications

job, fiction, sci-fi
