"The Lando likes you, so you should buy the Lando" -Crazy Button Selling Hippie

Whoa, so yeah Canada Day was yesterday and it started a bit rough.
To understand me yesterday you have to realize what I was like the day before. On Wednesday, I worked, and this is no exaggeration, close to 16 hours! It was quarter after 1 in the morning when I got home and just after 2 when I went to bed.
It was just before 8 in the morning when dad put the ladder up outside my home and started tearing out my old window to replace it with a new one. Needless to say I was more then a little tired when he started pounding away. After I finally got up (Only after realizing he wasn't going to let em sleep) I had to help out until around 4 when my brother and I got ready and headed into town.

When we got into town I still had some time to kill before I everyone had agreed to meet. So I just walked around until it was 5 then split over and meet up with everyone. Our first order of business was to get something to eat, and as such a pizza place was next door we all went there to eat. The pizza wasn't bad but it took so bloody long! Nick defended it by saying that it was being prepared fresh, but still if it was going to take that long it should have tasted better. But I suppose that I am kinda picky on pizza.

After the pizza we all just kinda hung out. Danielle got introduced into the group so that was fun to have new friends with old ones. We all did random little things to pass the time, but the thing that stands out the most was the hippie selling buttons. I personally spent 6 bucks there and who knows how much everyone else spent but he had awesome buttons even though he sounded just a little out of it.

After that we found a spot to sit and wait for the fireworks. We all just kinda hung out and a few other people we know came and joined us so our little crowd grew. Nick and I spent some of the time playing '99' with a new deck of cards. We taught Danielle how to play and she had crazy luck as Nick or I always ran out of cards before she did.

The fireworks were awesome. We had got a spot as close to the water and the fireworks as possible. So when all the bigs ones went off we could feel the shock waves. They changed the finale though, normally they have a massive amount lit for the end but this year they just launched this the mother of all fireworks.

anyway it was all awesome and I look forward to next years.
