Just to clarify...
...I am only using this journal to participate in communities and comment on other people's entries at this point. I haven't given up HP fandom, but I am happy to sit on the periphery and watch. My "real world" updates are more likely to happen on other social networking sites, and I'm keeping that pretty much separate from fandom.
If we have been mutual friends on LJ in the past, rest assured I am still interested in knowing what's going on with you, and most likely I will chime in on your entries from time to time and let you know what's going on with me in a general sort of way. I just am terrible at updating my own journal, and I finally gave up!
