Busy, busy, busy...
Okay, been pretty busy for the past week! School, work, chores, special projects....time flies by so fast nowadays, it's ridiculous! I remember as a little kid, the days seemed to go by so slowly and a year dragged on for what was definitely an eternity and a half. It always seemed as though Santa would never come! Now, the days speed on by and I barely have enough time to take a breather before I have to get ready for the next project. People tell me that the years will only fly by faster. I hope not, they already seem to slip away too easily right now!
On a lighter note, I was helping a friend of mine move out of her apartment this past weekend. I was carrying her beloved hamster (in its cage) down a flight of concrete stairs when I guess I misstepped and fell to my knees. I tore my jeans and scraped up both my knees pretty badly, but I am proud to say that that hamster cage stayed perfectly level the entire time. The entire time! That hamster didn't feel a thing, probably didn't even notice that it's carrier had clumsily fallen down. She was calmly chewing on a bit of cardboard when I finally set the cage down on the bookshelf. No thanks from the hamster, but I'm proud of myself anyway!
The only thing is, now I have to eventually find another pair of jeans!
