So overall I though the finale was ayight...although I will say that the I would have preferred if they had made the finale extra longer and left the Born This Way episode at the standard 1hr. A little switcheroo there would have been appropriate.
All in all...
I have to say that as much as I like the Brittana couple when it was all speculation due to basically the chemistry and playfullness of the two actresses, now that it has some depth, I can offically say that I hope Brittany and Santana don't actually get together. Naya Rivera has ridiculous acting chops. Seriously, her range goes the full 360 degrees, but, Heather seems to be stuck between 12 and 2. She's got great timing for those ludicrous/fabulous lines they write for her, but a part of me thinks the only reason that Heather has such good delivery with those lines is because she probably has been playing a version of the dumb blonde for most of her life and Brittany is that with just a little spit on it.
When Santana goes through finally coming to terms with who she is and then finding someone who reciprocates, I'd like it the lucky actress playing that part has at least half the range as Naya so that their exchanges pack a punch. I mean, when Heather had that monologue at the end, when she got to the part where she said "I love you Santana, I love you more than I've ever loved anyone in this world" I had to replay because I wasn't sure if I was hearing a declaration of emotion or an order at a drive through. It was so flat and it really annoyed me because fuckin Naya brings it and she deserves someone who can a least volley with her, if not play at her level.
So let Artie have Brittany (from Heathers comments it seems like that's what she wants anyway) and give Santana someone she can literally sink her teeth in to (and that Naya can metaphorically sink her teeth into)
Semi-rant done.
