Smoke Signal progresses apace. He's been defragging overnight to recover from the mass upload of utility programs. I'm not 100% done there, but my remaining choices are going to require a bit of research (I'm still trying to decide on where to go for my firewall and anti-virus needs).
This morning's task has been sorting through my plethora of game discs to decide what to load and what to store away. Some are obvious. Many are less so - I've got a number of games I've picked up on the cheap at garage sales and the like that I haven't really played, or it's been so long I can't remember them.
The definites list: City of Heroes, Front Office Football 2007, MechCommander 1 and 2, Master of Orion 2 (best free game I've ever gotten!), and of course Dwarf Fortress.
Sitting currently in my disc stack: Supreme Commander, Jagged Alliance 2, Master of Orion 3, SimCity 2000, Battlezone II, Dark Reign 2, Star Wars: Rebellion; Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, Diablo, Alpha Centauri, AquaNox, Warcraft II, Icewind Dale II, Heavy Gear, Victoria, Starcraft, Septerra Core, Diablo II, Superpower, Sacrifice, Quake II, No One Lives Forever, Civilization II, Fallout, MAD, Dungeon Keeper 2, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun, Hearts of Iron 2, Age of Wonders 1 and 2, Jedi Knight, Total Annihilation, Fallout Tactics, Europa Universalis 3, Crusader Kings, Command & Conquer: Renegade, the X-Com Collectors Edition, King of Dragon Pass, Mechwarrior 4, and a compilation CD of all the ancient classic D&D Gold Box games.
Thoughts? Like half those games, I haven't touched/it's been so long I don't really remember. (I don't even know WTF Superpower is or where I got it from.)
