Yep, I agree. Not the best Castle episode there is, although to be fair, I'm not that big a fan of Castle.

I have been enjoying this season on the whole, but a couple of eps have fallen flat for me. Last year I didn't really like anything but the finale.

I loved the season finale because I'm a BSG and Tahmoh (Cole Maddox) fangirl, but Castle episodes are usually forgettable for me. This season has been ok; I'm ambivalent towards the Caskett ship anyway. Lol.

I was so in to the ship until end S3 and then I don't know. Am more meh now, though they have their sweet moments :)

Just the whole opening scene was nearly word for word for the pre-credits teaser on Bones!! And there were more similarities too LOL.

How very sustainable of them to recycle material ;) But at least it was Castle who had the enormous winter wonderland model, not Santa...

I know, right? I rolled my eyes a bit when I heard they were going along the whole 'dead Santa' route, although Bones wasn't exactly original with that storyline either because apparently several other shows have also done something similar, LOL.
