[Good day, Luceti. I hope you didn't have any outdoor plans today; or if you did, hopefully you're willing to brave the outside with the weather as it is. It's dark and terribly windy, with ominous clouds hanging overhead - the Wicked Witch Ororo seems to have decided that no sun shall shine over the village until she feels like it. She much ( Read more... )

[Ororo's storm might spell doom and gloom and in general all sorts of unpleasant things for the average Lucetian, but to the majestic, brilliant Thunderbird (or at least the cartoon version circling around), it is a glorious herald of her godly power. She can even pretend she has something to do with it, beating her wings loudly in time with the real booms of thunder. And there isn't even any rain! This is the weather Kazooie feels made for, right now.

At some point, of course, this gaudy little Thunderbird might grab Ororo's attention, as loud and annoying as she is. Especially if she decides to perch in a window and peer in at Princess Dragneto.

... And laugh, because that's how she rolls.]

[Well, that's something she wasn't expecting. Ororo will raise one eyebrow at the bird perching on her impromptu tower's windowsill (she has hijacked a room at Community Housing 3) Much as she doesn't like the intrusion, she can't find it in herself to be cruel to an animal.]

Can I help you, little bird?

[In response, Kazooie just grins, cocking her head up at Ororo and her silly witch's outfit.]

Don't suppose you'd know anything about someone named Gruntilda, right?

[Ororo's costume is far more familiar to Kazooie than most. You see, she's used to seeing a lady looking something like this, and considering that Grunty is based off the Wicked Witch...]

... Though I mostly came in here to laugh at that princess-guy. A god's gotta take some time off of making an awesome storm! [She is taking credit for your work, Ororo...]

[She was all set to ask about this Gruntilda person when she realizes this bird is taking credit for her storm. Her already-raised eyebrow climbs ever higher.]

You think this storm is of your own making, little bird? [Can you hear the accusation in there?]

[Oh, she can. But the cartoony part of her brain interprets it as the same accusation Gruntilda might level against her - i.e., not something to actually be threatened by.]

Sure! I mean, it's my job, right? Thunderbird and all. Make some thunder, toss a little lightning around... you know how it is. [... Yes, Kazooie. Ororo does know how it is. A lot better than you do, actually...]

Is that so? I was of the assumption that this storm is one my own. [She'll raise one queenly hand to the window outside and snaps - calling forth a single bolt of lightning to split the sky with a resounding crack of thunder.]

[Yeah.]

[... Consider Kazooie thoroughly surprised. That loud crack of thunder - obviously not her faux-thunder - startles her enough that she comedically falls into the room and splats on the ground.]

...

Uh.

... I meant to do that. [Yeah, totally. How godlike of you, Kazooie...]

Did you now? [folds her arms.] Would you care to repeat that, then?

Repeat what, the falling-down thing? [She scrambles awkwardly to her feet, even using her wings as makeshift arms.] 'Cause I'd really rather not do that again...

[She looks unharmed, though. It wasn't much of a fall and cartoons don't get hurt easily.]
