[If you're listening to the journal, you might see and hear the flash of lightning and an accompanying rumble of thunder. A quick glance outside will tell you it's a clear, cloudless day; but on the journal you might spy a miniature raincloud floating just under the steady hand of a woman kneeling in the grass.]
[Back home, Ororo had a neat little attic greenhouse to house all her beloved plants in, and so rarely had the need to get herself so immersed in the earth and soil of gardening. But this late afternoon finds her on her knees and up to her elbows in dirt, hair pulled back in a simple ponytail and dressed in the work clothes of a simple tee and cutoff shorts - a look not often seen on the former-goddess. She's got a smattering of tools laid out on the grass beside her, but she seems to enjoy working with her hands, if the state of her normally-clean fingers is any indication. Her journal is resting next to her as well, and with all the moving around she'd been doing earlier, it's been nudged open and recording for some time now... though she hasn't seemed to notice, since she starts talking to her plants before long.]
Hello, my lovelies. How do you all fare, this fine afternoon? Better than I, I hope. There's been so much going on as of late, some days I feel as though the only peace I find is among you. Although with autumn upon us, I hate to have to prepare to hide you away for the coming winter...
[The cloud disappears with an easy wave of her hand and Ororo leans back to smile around at the plants she's collected so far... and spots the open journal not far away. Oh.]
[She'll make her way over to pick it up and peer into camera with a bit of a smile.]
Ah, I'm sorry. I hadn't meant to disturb your afternoons, Luceti. I see that the journal has a habit of recording at inopportune times. [a soft laugh.] Well, as long as I'm here, I suppose I can ask... Do you have any plans for this fall?
