I've known Lisa for almost two years. We met through our characters. One very, very timid day while I was just starting out in the scary fandom that is DC Comics, by luck I tagged her Bruce with my Rachel in a dressing room community. Poor Lisa had been fighting off all the Rachels already with a stick because the movie had just come out, all of them wanting to have a piece of her Bruce.
For some reason, she let me play with her despite all that. She was giving, open, and an incredibly funny and warm person. She taught me to stand my ground the moment it mattered most and if it hadn't been for her at the time, I would have quit RPing, never apped at the Rift, and never tried my luck elsewhere.
We've been through many ups and many downs, and I can still say she is one of the best people I know. Someone that, outside of the RP world, I admire very much. That's what it comes down to, for me. Aside from her talent in writing, she's a very good person.
Happy birthday, Lisa. I love you, and like you said, I also hope there are still many more years to come, wherever we may end up.
