Of course Carlos wouldn't be able to tell that he was being followed as he was following someone. He does tend to be a bit oblivious. And naive...how could he be sure that he can trust Camille?

Am I reading between the lines about James and Logan? Logan seems awfully hell-bent on getting James back and healing him. "It's James," Logan said. "I have to try." It's like what he feels is more than a strong friendship.

I'm so looking forward to more of this story. I want to know where Kendall is, how James is doing and how Carlos and Logan are going to escape from the Corps again. MORE PLEASE!

Yeah, Carlos is definitely naive. Luckily for him, Camille is awesome. And James and Logan... well... honestly, this fic could have been titled "Everyone Is Kind Of In Love WIth James (Also They're In Space)." So everyone is welcome to interpret those relationships however they want. Ummm, and Logan is the only character who actually identifies as gay, so there's that. Heh. ♥

Logan is a genius and Carlos has unshakable faith in that genius and they communicate without words and LOGAN WILL FIX JAMES. BECAUSE ANYTHING ELSE IS UNACCEPTABLE.

This fic makes me so nervous. I'm so glad Camille found Carlos and everyone's on the same page and Logan was smart enough to show her the picture of James and I'M SO NERVOUS. When I realized I was getting to the end of this chapter I might have had the tiniest little freakout because I MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS. I want them all to be okay :(

Also, because I haven't commented before this chapter (I am so bad at commenting) I have to add that I just love this entire sci-fi concept, so, so much. I want to read all kinds of adventures about Captain Knight and his crew.

Space Opera! So I’ve been saving this chapter for a rainy day, because I’m one of those people who like, hoards their favorite candy away to eat last and savor. And space opera is my FAVORITE thing in the history of ever, so I’ve been hoarding this for a while

I'm glad you like the POV switches. There were too many pieces going on in this fic to avoid them, 'cause I usually try to stick to as few as possible. (I think all six of the protags get their own POV section before the end. o.O )

Ha, the funny thing is that Camille wasn't SUPPOSED to end up hanging out with Carlos. All of my early drafts gave her really intricate, extensive backstory that was designed to eventually give her a plotline to dovetail with LOGAN'S, so they'd have a reason to be hanging out together (to throw back to canon) but that was non-romantic ('cause I'm me, so duh, Logan = gaaaaay), but it just wouldn't quite work and I kept having to change it and eventually stripped the whole thing out and let her go where the plot actually needed her. SIGH. This is why action/adventure is a bitch to write.

As for the story going on forever, um, if I had time to write it? IT WOULD. I warn you now I will not actually ever write them, but I have, let's see... at least six ideas for various sequels about the crew. *
