Year List 07 - #108-109
I see waveney managed to get a few year ticks at Redemption and seems to think he's catching up on me. Well, he is, but he's still got a way to go. I too added a couple to my year list, specifically a pair of Red-legged Partridge (#108) in the field behind the hotel and a Buzzard on the coach home (#109).
Unfortunately I couldn't take the little walk I did last time, up the edge of a field on the other side of the A5, because all the recent rain had put a broad ditch of muddy water in the way. Or perhaps not so unfortunately, as I didn't pick up any large quantities of mud to scatter over that very tasteful new carpet in the hotel corridors.
