If you have O+ or O- blood would you like to donate some of your blood before September 10, 2007 for a young lady in need of it? Her name is Samantha Palumbo, she's 18 years old and two years ago she got into a terrible -near fatal- car crash when a wooden log from an equestrian fence came threw the windshield and struck her on the left side of her face and skull resulting in an open skull injury, traumatic brain injury and multiple broken facial bones. She was hospitalized for seven months and was in various levels of a coma
She is doing her last facial reconstruction on Sept. 17, 2007 where her doctor is going to fill in the hole in her forehead with bone from another part of her skull, repair her nose and her left cheekbone. She needed 3 pints of blood the last time she had surgery so who knows how much more or less she'll need this time.
