http://www.rep-am.com/news/local/doc4be5e99a8b7a6284107730.txt It's kind of a sad Mother's Day for her two kids Elizabeth and Patrick. If you have seen her Jeep or her PLEASE contact the police. She has not been seen since she left work on Thursday and did not pick up her children.
EDIT: They found her Jeep in Waterbury but still no sign of her. Keep up the positive thoughts!!!!
Updated story 5/9/10:
WOLCOTT - Cynthia Cannon loves her children, never missed a day of work and talked to her friends every day.
No one has seen or heard from her since Thursday.
The 35-year-old mother of two has vanished, police said, and though they are continuing to search for her, they fear the worst.
"Based on all of the information provided to us by her employer, her family and her friends, we are very concerned about her well-being and her whereabouts," Acting Police Chief Neil O'Leary said.
O'Leary said Cannon's husband, Patrick Cannon, reported his wife missing on Friday night. Cannon told police that his wife had left their house at 207 Spindle Hill Road at around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday to drop off clothes at a Goodwill box.
When he awoke Friday morning, he told police, she wasn't home and he assumed she had left for work.
Cynthia Cannon works at Control Systems in West Hartford, where her friends said she worked in the accounting office. The company reported to police that she had not shown up to work.
"They said she had never missed one day of work and that she would call to let them know if she was going to be more than a minute late," O'Leary said. "They were very concerned."
