We finally finished watching Winter Sonata tonight...it took so long, and I knew we should have studied beforehand, but oh well... I can't believe how dumb the characters were at the end though...it really messed up what could have been a good story, but they just kept telling each other all the wrong things...*sigh*
On a completely different note, I'm amazed at how well done the new Sailor Moon live action show has been done. All the senshi look like normal Japanese girls except when they're transformed, which makes it look a lot more realistic. There are a lot of little differences that are really interesting, and a few big differences that are really odd. Luna, for example, isn't a real cat, but looks like a computer-animated stuffed cat (which is really cute, but kinda weird). And she wasn't being teased by little kids at the beginning; she actually fell out of the sky and landed on Usagi...(I can't figure that one out...). And for some weird reason, they decided to make Usagi's first attack Moon Healing Escalation. Whatever happened to moondusting the youma? We'll see what the other senshi get...and I haven't seen them do much of anything yet, but I think they picked well in terms of who to play the senshi. Usagi is a good klutz, and Ami looks very studious with her glasses. Although Ami not in costume actually has long hair, which is interesting...I wonder what she thinks about suddenly having short blue hair when she transforms... And Mamoru looks odd because his hair's bleached a bit, and he didn't call her Odango Atama or anything. The costumes are really well done though, especially Beryl's. I want to see more of this I think.
